In the early ‘70s fish was born as aboard that used for knee board and stand up board. Thebackyard board was epitome of the Fish Board. The backyard board very famous on surfing world in the late 60 and early 70s as new idea. The Fish was designed in obscurity and popularized by word of mouth -- in direct contrast to the over-hyped and superstar-endorsed log models put out by the major manufacturers at that time.
