History of Fish Board
In the late ‘70s Reno Abellira ride a fish board on
the semifinal board that begat the Mark Richards twin fins. The younger
generation of surfers using them generally ride widths of 17.5 inches to 18.5
inches; so any board over 19 inches would be the equivalent of the '70s or
early '80s surfer riding a 21-inch wide board.
What Size Should I Take?
The size
of the waves you are catch is other important factor to take and choose sizes
of fish board. Retro Fish Surfboard is good for smaller waves with sizes 2-6ft.
If you will catch waves with sizes 3ft and over the Quad Fish Surfboard or
Hybrid Fish Surfboard is better to choice.
