Team Australia wins ISA China Cup 2013

Wanning, Hainan, China, - The International Surfing Association is very happy to announce the winners of the 2013 ISA China Cup.

With a powerhouse team in the Men and Women’s draw, Australia won the Team Gold Medal for the 2nd consecutive year in the ISA China Cup. Brazil placed an in depth 2nd, earning the Silver Medal, Hawaii won the Bronze Medal, and France took the Copper Medal to accomplish the team results.

Whilst the waves are not as strong as last year’s event, the athletes have provided a fantastic show of surfing abilities, ” remarked ISA President Fernando Aguerre. “I’m totally stoked up about the possibility of surfing in China, and undoubtedly happy with our partnership with Womei, in the bringing of both ISA and ASP competitions for 2 years in a row.
